A three member delegation from the US Department of United State, Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migragion (PRM) visited JNUS office on 10 May, 2023 at the Ramu Upazilla in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. The member of the delegation included Ms. Kathryn E. Bacharach, Gender Equality and GBV Officer and Ms. Mackenzie Rowe, Regional Refugee Coordinator of the US Department of United State, Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migragion (PRM) along with Mr. Isteak Ahammed, Refugee Assistant of the US Embassy in Dhaka.
A one and half hour
meeting had been organized at the JNUS Conference Room by the project team.
They briefed the delegation and exchange views regarding the update on the
project entitled “"Enhancing Protection to Female Staff and Volunteers in
the Humanitarian Response in Cox's Bazar" which has been implementing by
Jago Nari Unnayon Sangstha (JNUS) in association with the Global Women’s
Institute (GWI) of the George Washington University.
