JNUS, as a sub-grantee of BRAC, implemented this UK Aid funded project at Rajapalong and Rantapalong Union of Ukhiya Upazilla and at Rohingya refugee Camp-9 in Cox’s Bazar. This project was particularly focused on developing women-led community based GBV protection mechanisms. The project was further intended to promote awareness against Gender Based Violence (GBV) and had successfully addressed the issues relating to early marriage, family violence, violence perpetrated against child and women, human trafficking (child & women) and Sexual harassment. The activities of this project included group formation, courtyard meeting, training for men and boys on GBV, livelihood support for GBV survivors, multimedia display and theatre-based road show.
