JNUS has, to date, extended legal support to the victimized women at the local level. It has a pool of experts including local influential figures to hold and carry on the salish programmes. In each month, it has been resolving at least 3 cases by holding salish programmes. In doing so, JNUS are getting support from the local police station and local government officials. Community leaders have been funding this programme taking into consideration the utlility and effectiveness of this programme.
